This is a nice compilation of day trips with Albuquerque as the hub, although the author admits some of these trips require more than a day to see everything he describes.The font is very small and hard to read (my guess is about 8 or maybe 7). I am considering getting the kindle version so I can enlarge the size of the words - - - but I hate to buy a book twice simply because it was not printed large enough to be read easily.Addendum - I did purchase the KINDLE edition also. The font is adjustable so it can be read easily. I recommend getting the kindle version if you have a kindle. You will save a few dollars and be able to read the book without any trouble reading the small print.
I am busy but my family still likes to get away. This has been very helpful. Nice to be able to just quickly look up a trip.
It's okay it you aren't from ABQ, but most of the places recommended are either boring or impossible to find. Almost completely ignores New Mexico's vast selection of wineries and the fact that it is the oldest wine-growing region in the country (Take that, Cali!). The best way to see the Land of Enchantment is to get lost on a few dirt roads.
There is SO much to see in and around this great city. A Great resource when you have visitors and don't know where to go.
