I am a nursing major and usually just take notes and read the book. However, this usual method of studying wasn’t working. I was so against the idea of a coloring book because I thought it would be both a waste of money and time. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I like to color the body part and then color the word. So for example, I color the femur green and color the word femur green as well. This makes more connections In my head. I also Like that it has information on the pictures as well. It really helped me study and get the important info down. Super happy with this purchase
I am about to go into nursing school and was looking for something to help me freshen up on anatomy before. This is a great way to learn especially if you are a visual learner. I wish I would have found this sooner when I was in anatomy class. Definitely recommend!
I took anatomy during my undergraduate and again during Dental School and this book has surprisingly good detail even in the head and neck areas. Very pleased. If you want to actually learn anatomy this is a good resource.
The book is great! I purchased this to assist in active learning for my current anatomy class, as well as brushing up on past classes before I begin nursing school. The book follows my textbook by chapter which is extremely convenient. Each section goes into great detail and matches what I am studying in class and in my text books. The pictures are terrific and informative. Each section also has text explaining basic necessary knowledge. I would highly recommend this active learning coloring book to anyone in the medical field, or anyone interested in learning about the human body! Being able to read about each part, learning the proper names, and coloring in the specific parts all at once greatly assists in memorization for any practical or exams- it allows the information to really “stick†in your mind.
I love this book. I have just started a very intense anatomy course and was having trouble staying organized and on top of all the information, but having it all in one place really helps. I appreciate that it includes information for each too - as in it’s more than just coloring the different parts. Would definently recommend. It does NOT come with colored pencils though.
It arrived on time and it’s just like my Netter’s anatomy book, except you can color! It’s not what I expeted, it’s way better. It’s a really thick book, very complete, has exactly everything from the original text book. Comeswith instructions and guides on how to use it/color it. I recommended it to my fellow classmates. Perfect for first year medical students!
I had a very similar copy of this book years ago from a college figure drawing class, and it was so helpful my then-partner of the time "borrowed" it to study for his medical classes. Three years later and we break up, and he gave back everything but my copy of the coloring book. I was pretty mad about it, but eventually moved on and the book was relegated to the back of my mind- until recently, when a friend reminded me about it and I got mad all over again. I couldn't find a copy of my original book, so I figured the most recent would be fine- and it is! It breaks down everything in easy to read diagrams & explanations- and the pictures are so clear! Turns out I got the better of the deal, both in the breakup and the book.
Informative, succinct and a good prep for exams.Stimulates the tactile and visual senses while working on the memory . Highly recommend this coloring book.
